Decided to say screw it and just put most of my gallery into storage. Left the commission picture up since it's the only recent thing in my gallery and I put to much effort into it to just stash it into storage.

Should probably post some more recent stuff...then again most of it is mainly sketches which triggers the sketches -> scrap gallery instinct I've developed ever since they brought in the scrap gallery function.

Typing that just made me realize how long I've been here. HOPEFULLY NOTHING IMPORTANT IS SET ON FIRE.

Speaking of which SCREW YOU IN-STORE TEMPERATURES, EIGHTY DEGREES FAHRENHEIT WITH A HUMIDITY OF FOURTY-TWO PERCENT. Now I'm going to have to make a habit of stashing my water bottle somewhere with me while I'm on the sales floor ffffffffffffffff.

As the title says, I'm thinking of taking on commissions. Not committing just yet though! Most likely they'll be like....$5 sketches or something for a full body character or something like that and $2 for just the head. Will have to post examples later or something so people can see what they're getting since they won't get an accurate image of what they might be getting...if I do the commissions at all.

I do have a Paypal address, so that's a start I guess.

Got back from Sakuracon a while ago, but oh goooood I am so soooooooore. Saturday night was the rave with performances by smile.dk and I was dancing almost non-stop, complete with jumping around like a little 'tard. Though now I know how to properly handle glowsticks, which is always important in life.

I met quite a few people there, including ~BohemianLikeYou and *pie-is-i and AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA THE BOTH OF YOU, SO CUTE. ESPECIALLY YOU PIE IN THAT DRESS AAAAAH man I should have taken non shakey pics of you two. :U

Despite how good as it was, there were somethings that I were disappointed in. Is it just me, or was there no art contest at all? The only art related room I could see was the art gallery, and there were few submissions than last year's. Cosplay skits were okay, but the group two rows ahead of me aaaaaagh they had screechy voices. And strobe lights immediately afterwards was all kinds of head pain. D: Some of the skits I didn't really see the point in, and could have used a couple of days or even a week or so to polish up. Though I am so glad Sora the Explorer won~ I half expected Sora to start teaching everyone Spanish, though it would have been more relevant to teach Japanese phrases ala Dora the Explorer. Does this mean there should be a Go Diego Go version somewhere out there? Or maybe Blue's Clues....But I digress. Also WHO ELSE LIKED THE AMOUNT OF ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW IN THE SKITS, I SURE DID.

Cosplay chess was kind of a let down. I admit, I shouldn't have been expecting too much since it was my first time being there in person but meh. I kind of wished they gave the Captain Falcon a mike, he was so good. A lesson I have learned from this is to get there early or take a back row seat so I'll be able to stand on it to see what it is going on because people kept blockin' mah view man. >:V I think the only battle I liked was the No Face vs. Falcon one. The No Face cosplayer was so awesome THEY EVEN HAD THE MOUTH THING AAAAAAAH.

Also armor =/= ability to defend better in chess. :U Don't matter how pretty the pieces are, they still have the same capturing function.

To the meets~
I went to the Ace Attorney meet, the Tf2 meet and the Hetalia meet (in costume!). I was sad in the lack of certain characters but OH MAN. THE TWO GUMSHOES WERE ABSOLUTELY PRECIOUS. And there was an Adrian, Wocky, Cody, Lisa Basil and a Glen Elg to boot. :U *pie-is-i came as the Cody while ~BohemianLikeYou was one of the two Angel Starrs.

The TF2/Orange Box meet was okay, though the lack of Demomen and Heavies made many a sad panda. :< Crab spy and a scout with a Force-a-Nature were pleasant surprises though. :>

The Hetalia Axis Powers meet was earlier today and aaaaaaaah SO AWESOME. The Raivis cosplayer that was there was from Japan, and it totally made her day, especially with how many Ivans were there. We even had two Sealands too! *pie-is-i was the Shinatty-chan and man there should have been more shots of her molesting people like the two Chinas. :U I was a fail!North Korea and kept forgetting to take my glasses off hurr hurr. First time in cosplay and it was rather fun. Met some people from the hetalia comm too. What was really nice was how organized it was! The other two meets just had the cosplayers doing their own thing, but in this one they were all "OKAY WE SHOULD DO SOME SHOTS OF THIS AND THAT, WHO WANTS WHAT NEXT." Rather fitting that it was one of the Lithuanias trying to get things organized.

I've got tons of pictures, though in hind sight I could have gotten more but meh. I'm amazed my camera batteries survived for so long. XD I kept forgetting to charge them.

Merchandise count that I have is: three doujin, two Persona 2 and one Hetalia Axis Power doujin. The guy that was selling the doujin used to carry Xenogears doujin but stopped carrying it this year since it didn't sell well apparently. YOU WERE MY ONLY HOPE MAN, WHY WHY YOU MAKE ME CRY. Though finding Persona 2 doujin was pretty awesome, and two different books too! I shall have to try and scan those later and try and find someone willing to translate them. Same with the other one, though I have a feeling it was already posted on the hetalia comm on livejournal

Closing thoughts: I wish I could have made it through the con without seeing Man-ry again. ;A;
